Description of The Work :

Existing dumpsite of Ereğli has an area of 3.5 hectare and is located 5 km away from Ereğli center.

Ereğli (Zonguldak) applied to Bank of Provinces for the rehabilitation of existing old dumpsite in year 2011. The rehabilitation scope includes the site survey and mapping studies of the dumpsite, detection of leachate quality, measurement of landfill gas, measures for the closure of the landfill and alternatives for the rehabilitation of the dumpsite.

Services:

  • Site surveys on existing site (mapping & geotechnical),
  • Water and waste characterization of the site,
  • Preparation of all closure measures and related design for the dumpsite, including leachate collection pool,
  • Design of gas collection system,
  • Electricity production system,
  • Preparation of the alternatives after the closure of the dumpsite,
  • Preparation of BoQ and tender specifications
